Parents’ Guide to Playing with Baby at 1 Month

How do you play with a newborn baby? Talking! Communication is the first form of play. Not only are you helping to develop their communication skills by talking, but you are also developing their social and play skills. Babies love faces so when you talk to them they will look at you and stay engaged. Talking to your baby without distractions is a daily play activity.

During the first month you’ll also notice baby starting to gravitate toward toys that interest them most. Talk to them while playing with toys to keep them engaged with you.
